Solution for me on iOS13.3 (Exchange account but should work for most account types):

Enable loading remote images as mentioned above.

Then...

Upload your logo/image to a web server or some place you can access the image online by typing the URL in your browser without having to login.

Open up Gmail or borrow a friends account to complete the following.

In Gmail settings go down to the Signature section.

Copy and past your signature and replace the image with the image tool in the Gmail toolbar.

Select Web Address URL in this window and in the pathway box type the URL (address of your image that works to show the image in your browser).

Once it shows click "Select" and the image should appear in your Gmail signature.

Save changes down the bottom and then send yourself an email from the Gmail account.

On your iPhone copy the signature on the received email to your iPhone signature.

Once pasted shake the phone as mentioned above and "Undo" styling changes (may work without this step).

Try sending an email with your remotely loaded image/logo and all should be working.

Put your Gmail account signature back the way it was.

I'm using iPhone 8 with iOS 13.3 and have done this ******** numerous times already. Most people having same issue, would agree with me. Apple are you paying any attention to all this frustration....? Is it the limitation of the 'Logo Image' size in KB or Pixels that can be effectively embedded in the Mail signatures....? I've tried pasting Logo Image sized from 20KB to 6KB and 260X72 Pixels. Once setup it works for couple of times, after that Logo Image appears as an empty box. Why Apple is not saying something about this.....? Please provide some real answers.

You may still be able to retain fonts formatting (provided iOS recognizes that font type) but wont be able to retain Company Logo (image .jpeg or .png file) with in the saved signatures.

To retain your fonts all you have to do is shake your phone after pasting the signatures copied from another message.

This will generate a prompt message "Undo Change Attributes" on your iPhone screen, Tap "Undo" and your custom font will reappear. Tap on a clear area and edit your signatures (if you want to) then tap the back button/arrow at top left. You're done.

But as stated earlier if your copied signatures contain a JEPG or PNG picture file it will appear as an empty block when ever you compose a new message.

Having tried you solution, this does not work and doesn't solve the wider problem, by deleting the account and reinstating what was already there is not a fix in my opinion as you are placing back the same information as before in the same format.

I have tried to do the following things to combat this problem and so far failed:

Reinstating the email signature as a HTML file/link
resizing the JPEG image to something smaller
Deleting whole signature all together and restarting
deleting the account as proposed
trying other formats for the image file

I would also like to note that when sending the signature to the phone from a desktop computer the signature comes through fine with no issues, its only when the signature is loaded to the phone it becomes a problem, and after trying multiple avenues to remmedy this issue I am under the believe that it is something to do with the IOS solely.

This seems to be working and you can tell it's going off to the cloud to get the logo from my Google Drive. I tried Dropbox, but they want you to upgrade to make URLs public, then I used my OneDrive and Gmail refused to find the public URL. So, placed it in my Google Drive. The Web URL tab didn't work, complained it couldn't open the file, however it did place the file under the My Drive tab, so I used that. It's working.

Painful experience and Apple should be ashamed of their Support Service as it doesn't seem to have the teeth internally to get these issues swiftly fixed. This is not and isolated incident, it's a pattern with SW problems.

I'll preface this with "This is not a solution, it's a workaround!" as I'm having the same issue on my iPhone with iOS 13.

All I did was take a screenshot of my existing email signature in outlook on my work computer, saved that screenshot to iCloud drive, and then made sure it was downloaded on my iPhone.

On my iPhone I configured a generic "Kind regards, Name" signature in Mail settings, and then whenever I need to attached my full email signature I just insert from iCloud drive the image of my mail signature.

As it's inserting an image not attaching it, it does work in HTML email and appears just fine in outlook when I receive said email.

Like I said, not a fix, but then I've never managed to get HTML signatures with images working in iOS mail, but it is a workaround that will suffice for me and my needs until my company unblocks the use of Outlook for iOS (which is better than iOS Mail anyways!).

The solution is to use server side signature that can be attached to every email going out through your company server. Talk to your IT Department or Email Server admins to implement such feature for employees in the company you work for.

You know what? Apple isn't listening. I've spent valuable time with workarounds that sometimes work, sometimes don't.

Finally the solution is easier than one would think. Just ditch iOS Mail and use a different mail client. I'm using Spark as somebody recommended. It completely solves the signature problem, it even allows you to choose from several signatures for your email accounts (graphics and all). And it also has some nice additional features like scheduled email sending.

It's a pity one of Apple's most basic apps is not up to the task, but luckily there are alternatives out there.

I have been using the signature created by the Spark App for multiple months, November, December? Still works on my iPhone and iPad. Make sure that "show images" slider is turned on under mail settings.

Guys I found a work around for it, it is not the best of the best but it works, you can barely noticed it but something is something. All you have to do is add a dot at the beginning or at the very last of your image, something that shows next to signature when you get out from it, otherwise it will not recognize that something is in there, if anybody has questions let me know so I can write step by step on how to

I was having the same issue with my iPad and iPhone. The way below is worked for me.

Open a google docs on google drive
Add your image in that file
Adjust image and details on your signature
Copy the final version of your signature
Paste into your signature in mail settings iphone or ipad (At this stage i used universal clipboard hence i used Mac to create google docs file, but I suppose it will work same on iOS App of Google Docs)

#1 You should register "The 2 dots company" in your name and there you have it - the 2 dots actually serve a purpose 😉

#2 On the serious side: The way you went about it is not quite the way I did, so let's see if this "recipe" works better for you, as it did for me:

Create a signature in Spark (you have).
Start a new mail in Spark. Do not send it.
In the new mail in Spark, click the screen and then "Select all", "Copy"
Discard the new mail in Spark.

Now go to the Settings -> Mail -> Signature, delete everything (a little cumbersome) and then paste

Directly from the Spark "new mail" - not using the native app at all, until you're done.

I believe copying from the native app removes some of the formatting.

I suggest....Try converting your logo to .png format ensuring file size is no larger than 70KB and then insert again in your signature in Spark app and then follow the other steps.

Well I found a work around until Apple gets their **** together. I don't know why I always end up spending countless hours having to figure this crap out lol.

I don't know how to do this any other way because I am not that smart. Someone with HTML Knowledge could chime in.

I use Outlook (Office 365) for my company email, so this is all I know how to do it with.
Upload your logo/picture to imgur.com and copy the "Direct Link" should be the second option from the top.
Open your signature in outlook. Click on the image in your signature, then click the "insert hyperlink button" You can also right click the image, and press link as well.
Paste the direct link from imgur and click ok.
Send an email to yourself > Open it in your iOS Mail App > Copy the email signature from the email you just sent yourself.
Go to Settings > Mail > Paste the Signature into the account(s) you want to use it on > Shake the Phone > Undo Attributes. Your done.
The reason I called it a "work around" and not a solution is because when you compose a message there is still a white box where the image should be but if it worked there should no longer be "null" written inside. When you send a test email you will see the image loads properly on the receivers end. It's not perfect but it works. It just doesn't look like it works when you are composing it.

Yeah its resolved but with an html file, not tried with an image format (.jpg, .gif, .png...). I coded it using tables an inline style properties (yeah, welcome 90´s again) becuase and external CSS file or modern properties are not supported.

Once you get the html file open it in your browser and check if your image (logo or whatever is showed) if not and you are using dropbox to link it you have to make a tiny change in the url, here it is a detaill explanation:

After being sure about the url, send an email form your computer to your iphone with the attached signature, copy and paste it in the signature location (general settings > mail > signature). Without leaving this screen shake your phone (the way to undo things in your phone), because as a default iOS is gonna a change your style (mostly related with typeface and dimensions).

The Apple senior advisor opened a case and submitted this issue to Apple development team. Today., June 3rd I received a call and the answer was that Apple removed the signature images option as they protecting themselves from using these images illegally.
Installing Spark email application helped to get this signature showing in my emails. The question is, woul dit stil be showing after removing Spark?

There are some steps on this thread. But for me it worked like this.

I installed Sparks on an iMac and the iPhone, free
I created HTML signatures for 5 email accounts that I have on iMac and it synced with the iPhone app
I opened iPhone and opened each individual email and copied the signatures.
Then I pasted to email signature on iPhone, Settings eMails Signatures.
Test it by sending emails from your iPhone and opened on iMac and iPhone, at first they may not show. Then it will.

Please install Spark on your Mac desktop, create signatures. It will sync with the spark iPhone, copy and paste to your mail signatures on iPhone. Try to send, good luck!

Hi, I can confirm that by using this method you can put your full signature and digital image/logo into your iPhone emails, first download the email app called Spark from the App Store, set up 1 email address to set up the app which very straight forward, then go to setting and find signatures and set up the signature you want to use in your iPhone emails, you can simply copy and paste your signature from an email you have sent yourself, assign this signature to the email address you set up, then close the settings, go to your email in Spark and create an email, do not send it, when the default signature loads simply select all and copy it, then open your iPhone settings scroll down to mail and select signatures find the email you want to assign the signature to and paste it in, you can then hake your device and click Undo, this will return the signature to its original formatting, and that’s it, it’s a bit long winded but I know this definitely works even with the latest iOS 13.5.1 update, good luck

I was a web designer for more than twenty years and know my fair share of code.

A lot of peeps scramblin' on this thread and I get it. A lot of you have questions that go deeper than what you ask. Policies and procedures are implemented by Apple to keep our precious data secure. Permitting unknown attachments to our emails may provide a possible open gateway for attacks. It makes sense they want to avoid that. One day, they may realize that their very clients don't have the International Brand recognition that Apple has, and as such, those same clients need to promote their brand. In their emails.

With that said, there are three things you can do to have a working email signature complete with an image on your device.

Download the Spark App (I sell construction equipment, nothing in it for me)
Upload your logo image to a secure file server
Turn on/activate/ Show Remote Images in your email client settings

Go back back a few pages and follow the instructions to download Spark - Email App by Readdle. I was pleasantly surprised by the added features it has - like schedule to send at another date/time, but I digress.
Ask someone you know, or your company webmaster, to host your signature image (logo or whatever) on your server on the https side (secure). They would provide you with the URL that would look something like this.... https://yourdomain.com/secure/images/companyNameLogo.gif (as an alternative, you might be able to host your image in the cloud if the link is https) Name the logo image something simple like that. Email clients read the code behind the scenes, and better chance of showing appleLogo.gif then satanspawn.gif. Because you've included the URL instead of the image itself, it is not attaching anything to the email, it is showing a display box for a remote image. Some people on this thread have complained of seeing an empty box - you need to mod your personal settings in iOS to View Remote Images. Actually, same would be true in any email client. It's a caveat not confined to Apple, but EVERY individual's personal preferences in their email client's across the globe.
Turn on Load Remote Images - from my iPad, settings, mail, Load Remote Images.

Lastly, most company logos should be in gif or png format. Colors and text in the image only. The only time you want or need a jpg is for photos, for more color accuracy, but far from necessary. Gif and png are lightweight - like a few kbs. Light doesn't trigger spam alerts - because that is what EVERY email client on the planet is trying to detect. A crap-ton of links in your sig file, also can spark a spam alert.

Now, with all of this said, many individuals simply choose to look at all email with Simple Text, and for those, NONE of your HTML settings will work, no images will display and the font(s) you chose will default to Arial, helvetica, sans serif. So, avoid using your "corporate font" in a sig file, as the only peeps that will see it the way you intended, are those that have that very font built into the pc/laptop/ipad/lovoto/android/ device they are using at that moment. Use arial (MS) or helvetica (iOs) for consistency across all platforms. Not because I like it, but because EVERYONE has one or the other or both. Code has been written this way forever.
