Positioning images in WordPress
Positioning images in WordPressWordPress is pretty easy to use on the whole but when it comes to positioning images within text content, this can often be tricky for first-time users.
We recommend that users always position the cursor at the beginning of a paragraph or heading prior to clicking the Add Media button, regardless of how the image will eventually be aligned.
To help understand this concept we provide a PDF handout demonstrating the different image alignment options and where the cursor should be placed to add the images correctly.
Yes, even if the image is to be aligned right, the user is still best to position the cursor at the very beginning of the (adjacent) paragraph or or heading.
