Symptoms
- Phone is stuck on “Downloading… Do not turn off target“ Screen
Environment
- Samsung Galaxy J3
Resolution
- Simultaneously press and hold Power button + Home button + Volume Down button.
- Make sure to press them down at the same time.
- Keep pressed until the screen goes black
- Release all buttons
- Your device should automatically reboot
- If your device doesn’t automatically reboot, press the power button yourself.
Cause
Instead of pressing Power button + Home button + Volume UP buttons at the same time when attempting to boot into Recovery Mode, Power button + Home button + Volume DOWN was pressed.Additional Notes
This screen is also called the Download Mode screen.
